This session was a ton of fun, and I feel that I learned so much throughout it!

Everybody has a different "default" state, pose, smile, or expression, and for many people that doesn't necessarily mean smiling all the time. Julian radiates a sense of calm purpose that often comes through in more contemplative, neutral body language and expressions. It was so rewarding to get to know him in this way and figure out how to capture this in photos.

We took these pictures in and around Mill City in Oregon, which is a small rural town with tons of character and picturesque scenery. It was fun to balance that with Julian's fashionable and athletic vibe, and we had a good time trying out various locations and backgrounds to ultimately come away with some memorable photos.
